RENÈ is a genderless, Copenhagen-based brand founded in 2022 by Jens Skov Østergaard. The brand focuses on voluminous garments combining an unbound yet contemplative approach. RENÈ redefines tailoring by merging it utilitarian elements with a contemporary and fluid identity. Driven by a fascination with craft, culture, and heritage, RENÈ blends Scandinavian restraint with Eastern precision. This fusion challenges expectations through expressive silhouettes and material choices, embracing raw, tactile textures paired with a muted color palette. Committed to high-quality craftsmanship, RENÈ exclusively works with deadstock fabrics sourced from Japan, Italy, and Denmark.

We focus on both environmental and social sustainability. We use CAD software in the design development process to minimize waste. Additionally, we follow a low-batch production model to ensure we only produce what we can sell. Our garments are made in collaboration with reputable tailors in Thailand and family-owned businesses, providing meaningful employment to women facing challenging circumstances.
